This coaching program is part of my capstone project, allowing me to complete my final hours toward National Board Certification while offering accessible wellness support to the community.

Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Health and wellness coaching is a client-centered, evidence-based process that supports behavior change, self-efficacy, and sustainable lifestyle improvements. It focuses on client-led goal setting, building intrinsic motivation, creating realistic action steps, and providing accountability and whole-person wellness support.

I'm completing my final coaching hours toward National Board Certification through the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). This program allows me to gain real coaching experience while providing accessible wellness support to the community. In exchange, participants commit to attending all 8 sessions and actively engaging in the process.

No. Wellness coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical care. While coaching can be supportive for your overall wellbeing, it is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out to a licensed mental health professional.

The program includes 8 one-on-one sessions held via Zoom. Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes. We'll work together to find times that fit your schedule. Participants agree to attend all 8 sessions and actively engage in the coaching process.

Life happens! I ask that you communicate as early as possible if you need to reschedule. We can work together to find a new time. Consistent attendance helps you get the most out of the program.

Common focus areas include stress management, sleep improvement, digestion and gut health, nutrition habits, daily routines, and overall wellbeing and balance. You choose what's most important to you — coaching is always client-led.

If you're interested, we can include grounding practices, brief meditation, breathwork, or sound bowl tones at the start of sessions. These are always optional and based on what feels meaningful to you. The core focus remains on coaching conversations and your goals.

Coaching is great for adults who are ready to take ownership of their health, feel stuck or overwhelmed, want structure and accountability, or are curious about integrative wellness approaches. If you're unsure, book an initial session and we can discuss whether it's a good fit.

I've completed beginner and advanced wellness coaching coursework and am working toward National Board Certification (NBHWC). I'm graduating with an Associate of Applied Science in Integrative Health in May 2026. My approach follows evidence-based practices and NBHWC competencies.

All sessions are held via Zoom for convenience and accessibility. This allows us to meet regardless of location and fits easily into your schedule.
